I have a question, who do I email?

Please email us.

I am already a vegan or vegetarian, will I still benefit from this program?

Yes! A good deal of 28 Day Vegan Challenge participants were already living a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle before they enrolled in the program. This program offers an in-depth education on the correct way to eat vegan and vegetarian. From meal timing, meal balancing, essential nutrients...this program goes beyond learning how to detox and teaches people how to be true to their food choices in the most nourishing way possible.

I have a coupon code, how do I redeem this?

Enter GROUP### (where '###' is the three digit number code on your coupon and not the long customer code) and hit apply to zero your transaction out. Then hit check out.

When you enroll you do need to enter your credit card. There is an offer page that you will receive asking you if you want to purchase liver supportive supplements for the program. You may opt in or opt out at the bottom of the page.

Should I continue taking my usual medications/ herbs/supplements during this detox program?

Please consult your health care provider to inquire about using supplements, herbs and medications in conjunction with this program and the optional 28 Day Vegan Challenge Supplement Protocol. We are NOT suggesting that anyone stop any current medications or supplement protocols that have been recommended by another health care provider.

I'm pregnant or breastfeeding - is this detox safe for me and my child?

Cleansing and detoxification is not recommended while breastfeeding. There are a couple of options. The core of the program is really about healthy plant based eating. You could choose to follow along with the education and meal and recipe recommendations, focusing more on how to put healthy plant based meals together and not on the detox message.

Half the group is doing the challenge to learn to eat healthier and half the group is doing this for the detox benefits. That said the main message on the site is about detox. You would need to look beyond this.

You could still journal your food, incorporate meditation, walking, yoga/ Pilates, explore plant based eating and learn the correct rhythm of eating. Further, you want to incorporate poultry, soy and fish throughout the program (unless already a vegetarian or vegan). You will need more calories while breastfeeding.

When you sign up there are detox supplements offered. You must opt out of these.

Is food included with this program?

No, food is not included with this program.

Top ↑

Where do I buy the products for this detox program?

I chose not to purchase the supplements when I enrolled in the program. May I still purchase the supplements?

Are the supplements gluten, dairy and soy free?

Yes.

How difficult is the 28 Day Vegan Challenge?

The detox program is a challenge (hence the name). The beauty of the program is that it is a five week program. The first week is the education week. You will learn the why, how and what you will eat before you begin the challenge the following week. After the second week of the program most people really start feeling the rewards of the program which is highly motivating. You will also be walked through the program, each step of the way, through the daily emails and support of the member only site AND the guidance that Angela Pifer offers will keep you excited about the program and wanting to learn more.

Where do the meetings take place?

The 28 Day Vegan Challenge is exclusively an online program - available to anyone with a computer and internet connection.

What kind of support can I expect?

We recognize that getting adequate support is very important for people on this program. In addition to the very extensive (160 page) manual, the 28 Day Vegan Challenge is an email-based online peer support group, providing ongoing interaction and support for all participants. Support and be supported by likeminded people working towards the same goals. Program creator, Angela Pifer, leads to group as a whole through the program, answering each question that is posted in the online discussion forums. This is a group program. Individual attention is not offered beyond the support given in the online discussion forums.

Do you provide a daily meal plan?

Rather than outlining a day-by-day plan we offer four day meal plans and shopping lists for both "No Cook" and "Adventuresome Cook" participants. You may combine these for a total of eight day meal plans. You will be provided with guidance of the types of meals that you should be eating each week; with the recipe section full of many excellent meals to try. With sample meals rather than a strict day-by-day plan you have the flexibility to choose from a wide range of different meals. As far as quantities go, each person will differ in how much they need and want to eat, based on current habits, exercise levels, etc. We suggest eating until you feel fulfilled (not over-filled!). Because the meals are very nourishing and free from harmful additives, you can't (for the most part) eat too much! Listen to your body. The exception to this is nuts and seeds, which should be eaten in moderation.

Top ↑

How much preparation is involved?

We have tried to include as many simple and easy to prepare recipes as possible in the manual. Many of the meals involve blending, which is typically less time consuming than preparing cooked meals. Most people find it a bit more time consuming in the beginning of the program while learning how to do things differently. Plan in advance. Whether soaking your nuts & seeds the night before, washing produce in advance, planning ahead for a meal out, or purchasing ingredients for the next few day's meals; thinking ahead a bit makes things a lot easier!

Top ↑

Do I need a juicer for your program?

A juicer isn't necessary for the detox program. Instead, we suggest purchasing a decent blender as you will definitely put it to good use! A food processor is also useful to have but not crucial.

Top ↑

How should I prepare in advance for the detox?

The first week of your program is the prep and education week called the "Precleanse Week." You will have plenty of time to prepare for your program during this week. Try to incorporate a vegetarian dish once or twice a week, leading up to your program and in the two weeks leading up to the program greatly reduce the amount of alcohol, and caffeinated beverages you are drinking (coffee, black tea, chocolate and soft drinks).

Top ↑

Does all the food have to be organic?

During times of cleansing, it is especially important that food be organic and one avoids pesticides, herbicides, etc. However, not everything is always available organic, and some people's budgets do not allow for this. Simply do your best and wash all produce well, regardless of its organic origins.

Top ↑

How much weight can I expect to lose?

On average, 28 Day Vegan Challenge members report losing 10 pounds.

Top ↑

Can I suspend my program?

We do try to be sympathetic to life happenings. If you are unable to participate in the program and have a valid reason, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you. We make it a policy to do so once for each person who contacts us with a valid reason.

Top ↑

How much does the 28 Day Vegan Challenge Cost?

The cost to participate in the 28 Day Vegan Challenge is $249.

Top ↑

How often can I do the 28 Day Vegan Challenge?

For optimal results, we recommend that participants go through the program twice a year.

Top ↑

Can I do the Program if I travel a lot?

Yes, the program is 100% virtual. You may access the website at any time during your program and read the current topic and assignment and participate in the discussion forums.
